The latest game takes place five years before Kingdom Under Fire: The Crusaders. Microsoft will be the new publisher for Kingdom Under Fire: Heroes. I really needed to split some orc skulls. The sequel to last yearÂ’s awesomely immersive strategy/action hybrid, Kingdom Under Fire: The Crusaders, has gone gold. Kingdom Under Fire: The Crusaders News Kingdom Under Fire: Heroes Is Golden Also, the story is so basic that you'll not really care about it. Sound: The voice acting is painful! And the way they push the story is a throw back to 8-bit RPG games w/ pop-up dialoug, w/ a headshot present to let you know whose speaking. I can't recall any particle effects, and the models are stock. Graphics: Visually, it's middle of the road for XBox. You'll want to save and reload, or buy a cheat book to help you here. This sucks, b/c trying to find the balance of which teams need leveling, w/o knowing what missions are coming up is frustrating. The leveling up commanders/troops is left wide open. They may rule later on, but around 15-20 hours w/ the game, I was too bored to stay around and master them. Also, the special abilities, that seem cool at first, are akward to use in game. On a few occasions this can get frustrating. Gameplay: Controling the armies seems to have been made for a mouse. Sadly, the stuff added didn't work as well as they planned. Overall: A take on Dynasty Warriors, w/ some interesting RTS twists, and bad voice acting. Suggestions: Kingdom Under Fire: Heroes is coming, that's my wish so far. Well, i just wish to have custom soundtracks but oh well. Sound: Great music and ambiant so far in a game like this. The spells effects look georgous, when you calling a meteor from the sky, look so cool. The raining effects is great, look like there are hiding camera underwater to capture the events. And the fights is just so real, jsut because there are over 1000 units in your screen, look like a real battle. You will feel that they fight with you, not by standing there and do nothing. Every unit is very detailed and look life-a-like. Graphics: The visual is jsut so spectacular.
You can buy weapons and armors to upgrade your leader, generals and units. Each side has abilities and unique spells that really make it's own advantage during combat. There are humans, dark elves, undead and orcs units at your command. Each time you enter a area, you can choose which troop you want to bring with you to fight along your side. Troop managements and leveling up the units is the main point to get victory in each battle. Gameplay: There are four campaigns which you must play the first two to unlock the the others since it's really hard. Forget about building towns, now it's just pure hack-and-slash action game for Xbox. Overall: Have you ever play Kingdom Under Fire: Age of Heroes in PC? It's a strategy real-time with some RPG elements into it bt now Phantagram have made something new about the sequel.
